Bookings for birthday parties
Bookings for birthday parties can be made via email or telephone. Once a provisional booking has been made, a non-refundable deposit of £20 must be made to confirm the booking. When this payment has been received, an email with receipt will be sent to confirm the booking. The number of children attending the party, as well as their ages, should be confirmed by the client approximately one week before the party. The balance is due on the day of the party and is based on the number of children attending.
All children attending the party must have completed consent forms, available from our website, which will be collected by Heather or Karen on the day of the party.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to run all the party activities mentioned on the website due to weather conditions, or age, or ability of the group. However, suitable alternative activities will be offered.
Parties last for 2 hours.
Cost per party: £120 for up to 12 children, with additional children charged at £10 per head.
Bookings for holiday camp
Booking is essential for holiday camps in order that we can be fully prepared for the number, age and ability of the children. Bookings can be made via email or telephone. No deposit is required and payment is made on a daily basis when children attend. If a discount if offered for a week's attendance, payment must be made on the first day the child attends.
All children attending holiday camps must have completed consent form, available from our website, which will be collected by Heather or Karen on the first day your child attends.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to run all the holiday camp activities as advertised, due to weather conditions, or age, or ability of the group. However, suitable alternative activities will be offered.
Holiday camp sessions last 2 1/2 hours.
Cost per session per child: £12
Groups and School bookings
School groups do not require to pay a deposit and the balance for any sessions or programmes will be payable at the end of the programme, or after delivery of six sessions, whichever is shorter. An invoice will be sent to the Head Teacher, and is due within 30 days of issue.
Groups attending a one off session must pay a £20 deposit to confirm their booking and pay the balance on the day of the session.
All children attending these sessions must have completed a Wild Outside consent form, and it is the responsibility of the school or group leader to collect these forms. Failure to complete the form may result in a child being unable to attend a session.
Costs for these sessions and the requirements of your group can be discussed with Heather or Karen.
Deposits and cancellations
We will in every instance endeavour to fulfil our commitment to you, but if it is necessary for Wild Outside to cancel a party or session because of adverse weather, illness, or any other unforeseen circumstance, your deposit will be refunded or an alternative date arranged. However, we cannot refund deposits in the instance of a client cancelling with less than 24 hours notice or having changed their mind.
We aim to run our sessions throughout the year and in all the unpredictable seasons of Scotland. However, it may be necessary for us to cancel a session if the weather is particularly extreme, e.g. high winds, that may cause a risk to all participants. If at all possible we will arrange either outdoor activities in an alternative venue e.g. school playing fields, or re-arrange the session for an another date. We will try to give as much notice as possible of cancellation, although this may not be until the day of the session due to the unpredictability of weather conditions. It is extremely important that participants come dressed appropriately for the weather conditions and take into account the length of the session when considering what to wear (see What to wear in Information).
Behaviour of participants and leaders
In order that everyone has the best and safest experience possible at our sessions, we ask that all participants must listen to and fully comply with the instructions of the Wild Outside leaders. We ask that all children and accompanying adults participate fully in this request, and failure to do so may result in activities being cancelled for the health and well being of the whole group.
